Maria Vergara, nacida en Sevilla en 1973, es una artista que ha dedicado su vida a explorar la creatividad en diversas disciplinas plásticas. Desde temprana edad, mostró una inclinación innata hacia el arte y el color.

Ha vivido en distintos rincones del mundo, desde varias ciudades en España hasta un corto tiempo en Irán, pasó parte de su adolescencia en Egipto, y ya con su propia familia ha pasado estos últimos 16 años en Suiza, Alemania y Singapur. Esta travesía no sólo ha ampliado sus horizontes y forjado parte de su personalidad, sino que también la ha sumergido en entornos culturales variados, nutriendo su arte con nuevas perspectivas y vivencias. María no teme salir de su zona de confort, abrazando el cambio como un reto y una oportunidad para reinventarse.
Autodidacta por naturaleza, María ha combinado su curiosidad insaciable con su amor por el aprendizaje constante. Realizando estudios de diseño digital, arte fluido y técnicas artísticas diversas, ha fusionado diversas influencias en su obra, creando un estilo versátil y vibrante que refleja su perspectiva ecléctica.

Su trabajo artístico ha generado el reconocimiento de múltiples clientes privados que han adquirido o encargado sus obras desde hace más de 20 años. Ha realizado encargos para empresas como Eon o The Little Gallery, en Alemania. Colaboraciones como ilustradora para Expatmole y es la creadora de los Wolols, los personajes de sus 3 cuentos infantiles.

El reto personal siempre ha sido una fuerza motriz en la vida de María. Cada obra que crea es más que una pieza llena de colores; es una manifestación de su valentía para enfrentar desafíos y su habilidad para transformarlos en expresiones artísticas. Las mayoría de sus obras son una sinfonía de colores, reflejando la alegría, la energía y la vitalidad que ella misma irradia y que quiere transmitir a través de las distintas disciplinas plásticas que practica.

Su enfoque ecléctico le ha permitido crear obras que reflejan no solo su destreza técnica, sino también la riqueza de su imaginación y la profundidad de su perspectiva. María Vergara invita al espectador a embarcarse en un viaje visual que va más allá de la superficie, explorando las emociones a través del color.
Sobre mí
Me considero una persona extrovertida y positiva. Me encanta todo lo relacionado con la creatividad y eso, ¡es un campo muy amplio!
A lo largo de mis experiencias, he sentido la necesidad de expresar mis emociones de forma artística, explorando y aprendiendo diferentes técnicas y utilizando distintos soportes. Retando mi zona de confort.

Cuando creas algo y ves que produce una emoción en el espectador, la sensación es increíble, muy satisfactoria, y te empuja a seguir creando y aprendiendo.
En cada pieza, vuelco una parte de mí misma. El arte es el lenguaje del alma y, en mi opinión, la forma en la que conectas con lo más profundo de tí. Ser capaz de plasmar eso en un soporte es un proceso muy gratificante..
La concentración que experimento mientras creo, es en cierta forma una meditación. Es terapéutico.
En los cuadros de animales o los buques que pinto, cada uno simboliza una cualidad que de alguna manera me ha acompañado durante lo cambios personales que he experimentado. Descomponer cada imagen en piezas, como si de un puzzle se tratara, y reunirlas a través del color, para que vuelvan a ser unidad, es mi manera de expresar la adaptabilidad a los cambios y la forma en que éstos afectan a uno, cambiando la perspectiva de lo que suele ser. Y el colorido que los caracteriza, simboliza el espíritu positivo con el que siempre me he enfrento a cada reto.
Todos estamos hechos de piezas compuestas de recuerdos, experiencias, aprendizajes, vivencias, sentimientos... En la vida hay separaciones y reuniones. Todas esas piezas encajan formando la personalidad única de cada uno.
El arte fluido ha supuesto un descubrimiento y un reto para mí. Es un símbolo de adaptabilidad y flexibilidad. Soy mucho de delinear contornos y formas geométricas, pero el arte fluido sacude todas esas líneas porque fluye sin ese control que limita las formas. Se esparce creándose a sí mismo y sorprendiéndome con cada resultado.
Elijo los colores y una distribución de la composición, pero, como en mi vida, todo son cambios y pueden fluir de forma diferente a la prevista, lo que me provoca a jugar con el resultado mientras me divierto probando cómo adaptarlo a lo que quiero plasmar. Me obliga a cambiar la perspectiva y explorar otros límites.
El arte fluido es una técnica que requiere más curva de aprendizaje del que uno pueda pensar. Requiere equilibrio en la mezcla y elección de medios y pinturas, muchas pruebas y errores hasta conseguir "dominar" porcentajes, texturas y la aceptación de un resultado imprevisible en muchas ocasiones, pero siempre asombroso y si no lo es, vuelvo a empezar. Como siempre.

Her work has been recognised by multiple private clients who have acquired or commissioned her works over 20 years. She has carried out commissions for companies such as Eon or The Little Gallery, in Germany. Collaborations as an illustrator for Expatmole and she is the creator of the Wolols, characters of her 3 children's stories. ​
Personal challenge has always been a driving force in María's life. Each work she creates is more than a piece full of colors; It is a manifestation of her courage to face challenges and her ability to transform them into artistic expressions. About me
I consider myself an extroverted and positive person. I love everything related to creativity and that, is a very broad field!
Throughout my experiences, I have felt the need to express my emotions in an artistic way, exploring and learning different techniques and using different supports. Challenging my comfort zone. ​

When you create something and you see that it brings an emotion in the viewer, the feeling is incredible, very satisfying, and it pushes you to continue creating and learning.
​
In each piece, I pour a part of myself. Art is the language of the soul and, in my opinion, the way in which you connect with the deepest part of yourself. Being able to communicate that into a canvas is a very rewarding process. The concentration I experience while creating is in a way a meditation. It's therapeutic.
In the paintings of animals or ships I do, each one symbolizes a quality that in some way has accompanied me during the personal changes I have experienced. Breaking down each image into pieces, as if it were a puzzle, and bringing them together through color, so that they become a unit again, is my way of expressing adaptability to changes and the way in which they affect one, changing the perspective of what could be. The color that characterizes them symbolizes the positive spirit with which I have always faced every challenge. We are all made of pieces composed of memories, experiences, learning, experiences, feelings... In life there are separations and reunions. All of those pieces fit together to form each person's unique personality.
Fluid art has been a discovery and a challenge for me. It is a symbol of adaptability and flexibility. I'm a big fan of outlining contours and geometric shapes, but fluid art shakes all those lines because it flows without the control that limits the shapes. It spreads, creating itself and surprising me with each result. I choose the colors and a distribution of the composition, but, as in my life, everything changes and can flow differently than expected, which causes me to play with the result while I have fun trying how to adapt it to what I want to capture. It forces me to change my perspective and explore other limits.
Fluid art is a technique that requires more of a learning curve than one might think. It requires balance in the mixture and choice of mediums and paints, many trials and errors until you manage to "master" percentages, textures and the acceptance of a result that is unpredictable on many occasions, but always amazing, and if it is not, I start again.
